Establishing our chapter

• Late 2011: Tenisha Mitchell and Patrick Sullivan started discussing with coworkers to gather interest and e-mails

• 12 Jul 2012: Submitted applications with 18 (ISC)² members

• 30 July 2012: Application approved

  • Started putting packet together (ISC)² Chapter Affiliation Agreement, Bylaws etc…

• 4 Feb 2013: Became an official Chapter

• 2012 – 18 charter members

  • Goal Establish chapter, Earn CPEs, Networking, build attendance

  • 3 Officer/Membership meeting

• 2014 – approximately 25, 10-20 attend meetings, roster of about 50 for communication

  • Goals provide CPEs opportunities, Networking,

  • Monthly Officer and 10 Membership meeting

  • Mar – MC Security conference 350 in attendance (8570)

  • Oct – MC Security conference 250 in attendance*

• 2019 – Partnered with Middle Georgia State University (MGA), started meeting on Warner Robins Campus

• 2022 – Start joint membership meeting and training MGA chapter Association of Information Technology Students (AITS) 

• 2023 – Hosting Joint ISC2/AITS Coffeehouse series speakers  

• Currently – approximately 51 official members, 15 – 35 attend meetings, roster of approximately 185 for communication
